Fans were treated to a GREAT night of racing on Missouri Organic of Kansas City night at I-35 Speedway, tonight the Show-Me Vintage Racers showed up with a great turnout of cars.

Jon Boller III (St. Joseph, MO) has led alot of laps at the beginning of his IMCA Stock Car features this season only to have it slip away. Tonight there would be no slipping away except for Boller III who slipped away from the field and won for the first time in his career.

For a while it looked like it was gonna be deja vu for Boller III as the field ran 3-4 wide behind him. Six time winner Dean Wray was sneaking up through the field battling it out with Kevin Anderson and John Crews before Wray lost all the water from the car on right front tire and hooked the car over the bank.

For a few laps Crews found the high side and was a threat to blow by Boller III but Boller III wouldn't let that happen and picked up the win. Boller III's father and current points leader Jon Boller Jr. (St. Joseph, MO) finished second, Kevin Anderson (Kansas City, MO) was third, John Crews (Polo, MO) was fourth and Gene Stigall (Winston, MO) was fifth. Jon Boller Jr. won the hard charger award.

In "Border War" Grand National action we had another new winner of sorts. Travis Walker (Cameron, MO) is not a newcomer to victory lane but if you ask him, picking up his first win of the season this late in the year feels like a first time win. Walker has had an up and down season but got off the winless track tonight. Second went to six time feature winner Bud Wilson (Trenton, MO), two time winner Austin Johnson (Kansas City, MO) was third, two time feature winner Thomas Roberts (Kidder, MO) was fourth and Rick Steele (St. Joseph, MO) was fifth. Wilson picked up another hard charger.

The Show-Me Vinatge Racers were on hand and had a great turnout of 13 cars. John Wilhite (Wellsville, KS) picked up his second win at I-35 this season, second spot went to newcomer Lee Roy Holler (Independence, MO), Dave Snedeger (Grain Valley, MO) came home third, Jim Clevenger (Olathe, KS) was fourth and Brad Huff (Marion, IA) was fifth.

Mike Tanner (Kansas City, MO) picked up his second IMCA SportMod win of the season. Tanner in a tight points battle came into tonight 3 points behind Randy Ainsworth (Excelsior Springs, MO) and the two would finish first and second trimming Ainsworth's lead to 2 points. Early on it looked as if Scotty Grenier and Jeff Stotts had the race wrapped up as both would lead numerous laps. Tanner had other plans as he scooted by Stotts on the high side and brought Ainsworth behind him. Tanner went on to pick up the win, Ainsworth was second, Stotts (Trenton, MO) was third, Dustin Miller (Pattonsburg, MO) was fourth and Lance Lincoln (Topeka, KS) had a great run finishing fifth. Mitch Booher won his third hard charger this season.

Eric Stanton (Hartford, IA) kept on his torid pace by winning his eighth IMCA Hobby Stock feature of the season. Stanton had a decent lead until the last lap when Lee Farmer (Bethany, MO) started closing in. By the time Stanton was coming out of turn four toward the checkers Farmer was right on his back bumper but Farmer ran out of laps and finished a good second. Last week's winner Andrew Hustead (Rutledge, MO) was third, Jeremy Turner (Pattonsburg, MO) was fourth and Mich Ross (Maysville, MO) was fifth. Stanton won the hard charger award.

Hunter Marriott (Brookfield, MO) also won for the second time of the season in the IMCA Modifieds. Marriott passed three time winner Jim Cameron with five laps to go and cruised to the win. Cameron (Cameron, MO) finished second, Jason Estes (Winston, MO) finished third, Blake Peeler (Trimble, MO) finished fourth and points leader Cory Wray (Jamesport, MO) finished fifth. Marriott took home double the hardware as he won the hard charger award also.

Next week is the annual Larry Kaster Celebration and the Midwest Lightning Sprints pay a visit to I-35 Speedway and sit inside the new air conditioned suite. For full results and points standings visit http://www.speednetdirect.com/points.php
