I-35 Speedway is racing this Saturday, October 28, 2017. The weather prognosticators are at it again predicting cool temperatures, but owners Mike and Kyle Johnson have stated it is one more chance for our drivers and fans to enjoy racing this season, so we are racing! Gates will open at 2:00 P.M., hot laps at 4:00, racing starting at 4:30 P.M. Please note the time change and remember we always have suite seats. After this weekend it will be 5 long months before we see racecars on the track again.
I-35 Speedways’ normal classes of USRA A Mods, USRA B Mods, USRA Stock Cars, Pure Stocks, Grand Nationals, E Mods, and Sport Compacts will be joined by the Midwest Outlaw Vintage racers in competition. This is Champions Night where we will be crowning the 2017 Champions. Pit passes are $35, Grandstands are $12, Seniors are $10, Children 7 to 12 are $6 and those little ones under 6 are free.
November 4, we will hold the I-35 Speedway Awards Banquet at the A.V. Spillman Center in Jamesport, Missouri. The Center is located at 308 S. Broadway. Tickets for the Banquet can be purchased for $25 at the front office. Social hour starts at 5:00 P.M., Dinner at 6:00 P.M., Awards at 7:00 P.M. After the awards there will be music provided by a DJ for your dancing pleasure. Additionally, there will be door prizes, a silent auction, and a cash bar, a complete night of fun for all. Make your plans to be there as we honor our drivers, our fans, our rookies, and our Hall of Fame inductees for 2017.
