I-35 Speedway is going dark! Yes, we are part of the 70 mile wide swath of the United States on August 21, 2017. The moon’s shadow will be racing across I-35 Speedway at 1900 miles an hour. So, for two minutes and seventeen seconds on that Monday around 1:09 P.M., the Speedway will turn dark, temperatures will drop, and we can observe the aurora of the sun. Being as we are in a great location to view the total eclipse, I-35 Speedway will be available for parking for a nominal fee of $25 per car load. Want to spend the night, primitive camping (no hook ups) is available for $50 a night.
Additionally, we will have the Trackside Bar and Grill open where you can come for breakfast or lunch and get your preferred spot before the event starts. The Trackside Bar and Grill will have eclipse based specials.
