The 2017 racing season is now history, but you can now start the countdown clock to the 2018 racing season at I-35 Speedway. December 1 will be exactly 100 days until practice day at the racetrack. Attached is the I-35 Speedway 2018 action packed racing schedule. March 10 will bring practice day, March 17, yes St. Patrick’s Day will be opening night, and from there the excitement takes off and starts racing to the season conclusion in October.
Weekly Racing includes USRA Modifieds, USRA B-Modifieds, USRA Stock Cars, E-Modifieds, Grand Nationals, Pure Stocks, and Sport Compacts. The Show-Me Vintage Racers (SMVR), Midwest Lightning Sprints (MLS), Midwest Outlaw Vintage Racers (MOVR) and the Lucas Cattle Company United Late Model Association (ULMA) bring variety to the schedule. The ULMA Late Models are under new management and I-35 Speedway will be one of three tracks they will primarily compete.
There are specials scattered throughout the schedule. The first special is April 7 with the USRA Missouri Meltdown. Look to USRA for more information on this exciting early season race! June 16, 2018 will bring a super payout, super racing extravaganza, the 2nd Annual Gary Davis Super 66 Stock Car Special. This race will pay the winning driver $3,000, second place $2,000 and third place $1,000 with further bonus money all the way down to $140 to start the feature. Just imagine the field of stock cars for this race! July 7 will be the night we celebrate our country’s Independence Day with Fireworks.
Annual I-35 Speedway events continue their tradition with the 7th Annual “Racin for Rian”, Kaster Celebration, Kids Night, 3rd Annual Smokin’ Trackside BBQ Bash, and the Central Auto Racing Boosters (C.A.R.B.) Night at the Races.
The 2018 I-35 Speedway racing season will conclude with the November 3 banquet, again at the A.V. Spillman Event Center in Jamesport, Missouri.
This is the I-35 Speedway tentative schedule. Kids Power wheels will be added to the schedule for planning of your family fun. The January 20, 2018 driver’s meeting will be held at the Cameron, Missouri Community Center. Stay tune for more exciting news to come!
