Saturday September 9, 2017 will be an exciting race night event at I-35 Speedway. We will be hosting the Poweri WAR Non-Wing Sprints, the Midwest Lightning Sprints, and our regular classes of race cars. MAVTV will be filming at the racetrack so put on your best racing garb and plan to be in attendance and then watch for yourself when the show airs. As we do every week we will be honoring our veterans in our opening ceremonies, however, this week we have just a little more planned in their honor. As many of our racers and fans knew him, I-35 Speedway will have a tribute for recently passed racetrack announcer Bob Libbey. His mother, step father, and wife will be in attendance. We will also be honoring former track preparation guru Mike Knight as it has been a year since his passing.
This past weekend the track hosted 92 racecars, providing 26 races for your racing entertainment. All year the track has produced some of the closest who won racing finishes. Numerous races have seen the last lap pass for the win excitement. Gates open at 4:30, tickets are $18, seniors are $14, Suite you tickets are $24, kids 7-12 are $6, children 6 and under are Free. Hot laps start at 6:15, racing at 7:00. See you there!
